1. "How do we find members for our study
group?"
Here is a list of the ideas that I have received from
the Study Group leaders:
Advertise in area astrological journals, newspapers,
etc. Share the "On Time/Cycles" tapes with
a friend. Hold a class and recruit people from the
class. Ask people to bring a friend to your meeting.
2. "What should we do at our study group
meetings?"
Every group has their own format, but this is what
I hear is happening: Plan a course of study to work
on each chapter of the workbook, Getting On Time With
Your Life, by Robert Kent Myers. Hold a discussion
of one of Buz's tapes and how the information applies
to their personal charts. Take turns presenting a
topic that the group is studying. Plan a group research
project. Someone may lead the group in a meditation.
Experienced members work with new members, one on
one, to explain astrological information. A typical
schedule for a meeting may consist of: presentation,
break and social time, group work, meditation, etc.
Groups pick the phase to meet in according to their
personal schedules. Any phase will work if the group
is in agreement.
3. "Do I have to be an experienced astrologer
to lead a group?"
This is Lunar Phase Work and working with 29.6-day
cycles. Some group leaders are experienced astrologers
and some are not.
4. "Who do we contact if we have study group
questions ?"
If you would like to join a group or form a group
of your own, Joann (see contact info to the right)
can help you make the connections to the Study Group
people in your area. We have groups in several states
in the USA. We also have groups in Canada, and Germany.
