In our 21st century renaissance, the divine feminine is re-awakening
— in our consciousness, in the dynamic activity of planet
Earth and in world politics. As indicated by her enduring
presence in popular arts and culture, Lilith continues to
be one of the most persistent and seductive feminine archetypes.
Often seen as dark and demonic, the transformative power of
Lilith is inherently spiritual. Astrologically we have four
Liliths that illumine the path of the cosmic feminine: Asteroid,
Dark Shadow Moon, Black Moon and Star. Mythology and theology,
literature and art inform our research. As we apply the Lilith
points to charts of famous people and our own, our discussion
will range into states of consciousness, aetheric and astral
planes, psychological shadows, eros, subtle energy fields
and out to the galactic center, where Lilith dances.
M. Kelley Hunter, Ph.D., C.A.P., is an internationally-known
astrologer and mythologist. Her psycho-spiritual approach
to astrology is informed academic studies in depth psychology,
philosophy, cosmology and artistic exploration in various
